This year we got to celebrate Halloween with a few different Halloween parties. The season started off with our friends' annual scavenger hunt Halloween party. Ever since we went last year we've been looking forward to it. Our friends put in so much time and effort into planing it. We end up driving all over town and it really is such a blast. This year everyone's costumes were pretty awesome. Marcus and I decided not to do a "couples costume" idea when he came up with his "Dirk Nowitzki" idea. Mine fell through at the last minute so I went as a gypsy. Here you can get the full effect of Marcus's costume:
Here he is minus "his legs" in full game-playing, trying to get us extra points mode:
Next up was the ward trunk or treat. It was crazy this year--there were 3 wards combined for the shindig. Here is Abby with one of her favorite people:
And following the ward trunk-or-treat we headed off to our neighborhood Halloween party. My mom was in town so she helped me finish my ghost costume in time. Marcus got a full round of applause for his costume when we walked in. We always have fun with our neighbors!

Looks like fun! What is Marcus walking on??? Is he on stilts and wasn't that hard to do? I'm very impressed.
The ghost costume came out great. What happened for the first party?
yes, they're drywall stilts, and yes, they're hard to walk on.
Love your costumes! I can't believe Marcus walked around on those stilts. Such an awesome idea. Your ghost costume is so great! It cracks me up to see you and Marcus holding hands with him up on those stilts. Can you imagine having to do that all the time? To cute you guys!
LOVE IT! Glad you had fun...your mom is the BEST Grandma!
Steph...those costumes are fantastic! So glad Marcus didn't break another leg! That boa wreath is seriously amazing!
